Una magnifica rosa a grandi fiori il cui colore bianco puro contrasta con il fogliame molto scuro. La rosa Metropolitan gode di un delicato profumo rosato fruttato con originali associazioni di banana, pesca/albicocca, giglio bianco e mughetto. Fioritura precoce (da metà maggio) alle prime gelate. plante saine planté dès le lendemain; La même achetée l'an dernier n'a pas pris, mais je n'ai pas la main verte. Je l'ai mis à un autre endroit du jardin...en lune fleur, Le plant est très sain. La terre est pourtant bonne et légère chez moi. Sur 10 rosiers de collection Meilland-Richardier, c'est le seul qui n'a pas pris. Je l'ai donc recommandé , nous verrons bien, car cette rose blanche et parfumée me plait beaucoup. Planté en isolé sur un parre-terre fleuri adossé à ma maison pour le sublimer et profiter de son parfum

Bonjour et merci pour votre retour. Quelques clés pour vous garantir sa reprise : Une bonne terre, au mieux un mélange à part égale de terre végétale et d’un terreau de qualité Taillez-le fort ! Plus la plantation de printemps est tardive, plus il faut le tailler (au minimum sous le cachet de cire, et vous pouvez aller jusqu'à 5cm du point de greffe). Vérifiez également que le point de greffe est comme "posé" au niveau du sol (trop enterré, les rosiers s'asphyxient, trop aérien, ils résistent moins à la sécheresse et au gel) Enfin, il aura besoin de surveillance quotidienne pendant les chaleurs estivales. Le moindre défaut d'arrosage lui serait fatal... j'attends de voir son dévéloppement, nous avons des problèmes avec deux rosiers Victor Hugo plantés suite à une commande du 2 mars et qui ne montrent aucun signe de vie, les branches ont bruni

Il faut un peu de temps aux rosiers pour démarrer à la plantation :) Si vos rosiers ont du mal à démarrer, nous vous invitons à vérifier que le point de greffe est au niveau du sol (comme "posé", pas plus haut, ni plus bas !) et à pratiquer une taille sévère à 10/15cm du point de greffe. Cela provoque une remontée de sève et facilite la reprise. Quelques rosiers, comme Metropolitan et Princesse de Monaco, sont mort parce que ils ne resistent pas au climat de la Sicile. Peut - etre leur porte - griffe (rose laxa, je suppose) est fait pour les pays plus froids, pas pour le soleil presque africain de mon ile. C'est le deuxieme fois que je tente de planter Princesse de Monaco dans mon jardin, malheuresement en vain. Trop faibles. Je n'y tenterai plus. Pierre Arditi,Mademoiselle Meilland, Princesse Charlene sont plus forts, et ils sont bien vivents et ils ont produit des belles fleurs, et aussi meme les renoncules et les autres petites fleurs.Je crois que pour les climat sicilien il faudrait des porte - griffes diffèrents (rosa banxia?) J'ai beaucoup de rosiers Meilland, les plus beaux du monde, et avant de moi, mon père avait des rosiers Meilland. Mais le climat est devenu plus chaud et plus seche. Seulement quelques rosiers, pas tous, peuvent vivre ici, quel dommage!

En effet, tous les rosiers ne résistent pas de la même manière vis à vis du climat. Nous pouvons cependant vous conseiller d'opter pour des Rosiers Paysagers qui seront naturellement plus résistant au climat chaud que les Rosiers à Grandes Fleurs.
